1. Age Requirement

You must be 18 years or older to book and receive a tarot reading. By booking, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

2. Ethics & Conduct

All readings are conducted in a compassionate and respectful environment. I reserve the right to refuse or pause service if a client is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, behaves in a way that disrupts a safe and respectful space, or is experiencing a mental health crisis (please note I am not a crisis counselor and may refer you to professional services). Mercury Pothocare is committed to non-discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

3. Nature of Tarot Readings

Tarot readings are intended for guidance and self-reflection and are not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, or psychological advice. I do not provide diagnosis, treatment, or guarantees of specific outcomes. The insights shared reflect current circumstances and possibilities, and your free will shapes the future. Services related to spells, guaranteed results, or fortune-telling are not offered.

4. Privacy & Confidentiality

All sessions are confidential. Recordings are made only with your explicit permission and shared solely with you. Personal data collected during sessions is handled in accordance with GDPR standards. Recordings are stored securely for three months before being permanently deleted. It is your responsibility to save any recordings you wish to keep within this timeframe.

5. Payment, Rescheduling, & Cancellation

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the appointment to qualify for a full refund. Cancellations made after this period will forfeit the payment. Emergencies will be considered on a case-by-case basis at my discretion. Rescheduling is allowed once per appointment, provided it is requested within the 24-hour notice period. Missed appointments without proper notice are non-refundable. If you feel uncomfortable during a reading, you may cancel within the first 10 minutes for a full refund (applies only to sessions 30 minutes or longer). Refunds are not available for shorter sessions.

6. Third-Party Services

Booking is managed via Wix, calls are conducted via Zoom, and payments are processed through Zettle. By booking, you agree to comply with the terms, privacy policies, and conditions of these third-party providers. Please review their policies before booking.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website—including tarot spreads, articles, images, and session recordings—is the intellectual property of Mercury Pothocare. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of this content is prohibited. Clients own any personal recordings shared with them, but the broader website content remains protected.

8. Legal Disclaimer

Tarot readings are interpretive and subjective. They do not guarantee specific results and should not replace professional advice in medical, legal, financial, or mental health matters. You accept full responsibility for any decisions or actions you take based on the reading.

9. Indemnification

By booking a session, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mercury Pothocare from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the services provided.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these terms will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of UK courts.

11. Communication

All communication regarding scheduling, payments, and session confirmations will be conducted via email. Response times may vary but will generally be within 48 hours during business days.

12. Updates to Terms

Mercury Pothocare reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be communicated via email and posted on the website. New terms will take effect seven days after notification.
